Characteristics of the Xenon H2/L2 safety barrier

The H2/L2 barrier meets the criteria of the European Standard EN 1317-2. This H2/L2 barrier is able to hold :

  • A light vehicle (with an average mass of 1500 kg) at an impact speed of 110 km/h.
  • Heavier vehicles with an average mass of 13 tons at an impact speed of 70 km/h.

The tests accrediting this type of barriers are the TB11 and TB32 tests for the retention of light and passenger vehicles, and TB51 for heavier vehicles such as non-articulated trucks. H2/L2 safety barriers have a strong containment angle: the impact angle is 20 degrees.
